The World Hepatitis Day campaign this year will be launched on the 19th of May and will be promoting the awareness of the deadly disease Hepatitis. Hepatitis kills 1.5 million people each year and one in three people have been exposed to either Hepatitis B or C or both. The low awareness has affected the death toll because many people are unaware that they are infected because the symptoms of Hepatitis are very similar to that of a cold or bad flu so not many people are aware they are infected.

World Hepatitis Day has already started it’s campaigns in 64 countries worldwide and is planning to make a difference this year, by asking the question “Am I number 12?” they plan to promote the awareness and make sure that people get tested if they think they could be at risk.
